Russian Economic Trends

Database

Dear readers,
we are sorry to inform you that the RECEP project is to be temporarily suspended. This means that the Russian Economic Trends will not be coming out either.
If you are interested in the Russian Economic Trends data, please take a look at the options here.

For further information please contact Mr. Paavo Suni at Paavo.Suni@etla.fi

During the ten year history of Russian Economic Trends (RET) a unique data bank of statistical information on macroeconomic developments in Russia has been accumulated. It is organised in MS Excel-files. On the basis of this data consistent time-series are produced.

Since September of 2002 a part of this RET data base has been available for everybody for downloading. It includes the most interesting monthly and quarterly RET time-series. There are two versions of the data bank. The short version consists of 140 indicators usually published in the statistical appendix of RET Monthly. Its size is about 1.2 MB of computer space (0.4 MB in compressed file to download). The enlarged version includes at the present moment about 550 indicators. It occupies about 8 MB of computer space (2.5 MB in compressed file to download). In addition to data series the data base provides an Excel-based interface that helps the user find the necessary data and make preliminary analysis of it. The size of interface is about 3 MB (1 MB compressed file to download).

We invite our customers to get acquainted with this new service of ours. We would be grateful for any comments and suggestions.
