Third All-Russia energy forum “Fuel and Energy Complex of Russia in the 21st century”

On March 21-25, 2005 the Third All-Russia energy forum “Fuel and Energy Complex of Russia in the 21 st century” will be held in the State Kremlin Palace , Moscow .

Energy forum is a large-scale project aiming at discussion of the strategy of the RF energy sector development and elaboration of agreed approaches to solution of system problems of the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex.

One of the key issues at the forum along with investments will be integration of Russia into the world energy space. A separate round table will be devoted to discussion of tasks of the Russian energy diplomacy and development of international corporative cooperation. Major attention will be given to the strategy and tactics of Russia 's entrance to the world market of energy carriers, export structure of products of the RF Fuel and Energy Complex.

Resulting documents will be an important outcome of the forum. They will contain agreed estimates of the progress of implementation of the energy strategy, formulated trends and problems, proposals for specific measures including wordings of separate sections of draft laws and normative acts which will be then submitted to legislators and representatives of executive power. There are consultation groups and editorial boards within the framework of each round table which should contribute to the work of the forum and its outcomes. The consultation groups and editorial boards consist of officials of legislative and executive power, leading scientists, analysts, businessmen and representatives of non-profit organizations.
