Hotel “National”
On December 10, 2004 a round table “Single Economic Space: New Perspectives or Review of the Achievements?” will be held on the initiative of Eurasia Legacy Fund in the premises of the Hotel “National”.
The round table will be held prior to the meeting of the high level group scheduled for December 15, 2004 . It is planned that during the forthcoming meeting the high level group will approve 29 high priority draft agreements aiming at establishing of the free trade zone within the framework of the Single Economic Space.
Cosponsors of the round table proceed from the assumption that the work on elaboration of regulatory framework of the Single Economic Space (SES) will enable SES to break through the impasse of “integration for the sake of integration” and create a new mechanism of international cooperation where a free will of political leaders to economic convergence will be backed up by efforts to involve business circles of SES countries and independent expert institutes to determine priorities of the integration policy.
The round table “Single Economic Space: New Perspectives or Review of the Achievements?” is to become a meeting-place for all the interested parties to discuss these problems. The first meeting will be arranged in 3x4 format. It will bring together representatives of integration regulatory bodies, business circles and expert communities of Belarus , Kazakhstan , Russia and Ukraine .
Among the participants of the meeting there will be:

- and such famous experts as Dmitry Sukhoparov, Alexander Livshits, Andrey Kokoshin, Ruslan Grinberg and others.
